PSYCHOLOGICAL PREPARATION BEFORE COMPETING EXERCISE.

1. When only 2 gymnasts before you have to compete this is the time to concentrate and shut out everything that is happening around you.

2. Picture your routine 1-2 times, done perfectly.

3. Do several actions from elements in your routine.

4. After presenting:

take several deep and calm breaths in and out;

tell yourself ``I will complete the whole exercise from beginning to end !``

5. Directly before the start of the routine:

concentrate on the apparatus;

mentally repeat the first element;

depending on your nature give yourself one of these command:

``boldly and with great attention to detail``, or

``calmly``, or

``right to the end``, or

``powefully and to the end`` etc.

Try different variants till you discover which is best for you and do not tell anybody -this will be your secret.

Try to use the same technique before each marked routine and eventually in time you will feel mach more confident.

ENERGY EATING.

  Eating a variety of the right, balanced foods will  provide your body with all the nutrients it needs to sustain the demands of training and competition. Also, if you have trained very hard over the last few weeks and feel constantly tired adding this kind of eating to your diet will help you recover quickly.

  INGREDIENTS:

 

100 g. Walnuts

100 g. Raisins

100 g. Dry apricots

100 g. Honey

  Mix everything in the blender.

Eat 1 tablespoon after each meal for one week.
